Man in a white outfit carries a large pink cartoon character puppet along an Edinburgh city-centre pavement as pedestrians pass behind him.
A Grin Above the Pavement The performer’s raised hand and broad smile give the procession a playful, welcoming energy. The oversized character’s outstretched limbs create an absurd counterpoint to the everyday movement of shoppers and visitors travelling through the sunlit street. From Edinburgh Festival People

A Warm Smile at Pride A costumed participant meets the camera with a warm smile while carrying a spiralled wooden staff through Glasgow Green. Horns, layered clothing and flashes of bright flags bring a playful, mythical energy to the surrounding Pride gathering. From Pride 2026 at Glasgow Green
