Galeón Andalucía lies alongside at the Port of Ayr, its timber hull, furled sails and tall masts set within a working harbour of quays, warehouses and water. This sequence follows the vessel from broad harbour views to the material intricacy of rope, yards, lanterns and carved fittings. Spanish flags and the ship’s devotional panel provide bright points of colour among the dark wood and dense rigging.
As daylight turns warmer, the photographs trace changing distances and viewpoints: the curve of the waterfront, the bow and stern, a gated quayside, and close studies of cordage and planking. The final evening views return the ship to the wider channel, where its silhouette and reflected light meet the industrial edges of the Port of Ayr.
