Tyre on the Fire Escape
A zigzag of metal stairs cuts across the brick elevation, its railings and mesh enclosing landings altered by rust, graffiti and encroaching plants. Turquoise paint and a discarded tyre punctuate the structure, while evening sun catches the metal against a clear blue sky.
